Do you remember thinking why I needed to learn that mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell? And you thought it was a waste of tax money; I think we didn’t learn enough because now we have all these anti-vaxxers and flat earthers. You would think it’s harmless, but it’s causing real harm. Education is important; we need to be able to critically think and distinguish the BS from truth.
