I went to the shop to do a tire rotation on my car. It is a small shop with a little waiting room, mechanics covered in grease running around, and mechanical noises. It feels normal, like the time before the pandemic.

It also felt strange, precisely because of its normalcy. We have AI, ChatGPT, self-driving cars, and computers that can create music. The world has changed, and this place felt like a time capsule.

I’m going to miss that world.
