I am going to have my software engineering job for at least a year. My IT friend, who knows how to program (of course, mostly he does DevOps work) came to me with a simple idea and I said, “You know, ChatGPT can help you. Just ask ChatGPT and it will generate 100 lines of Python code and you’re good to go.” But he dismissed my suggestion. Even though he is IT savvy, he is resisting using ChatGPT. So, human inertia will save my job for at least a year.
